The Fruit Quality Services portfolio entails monitoring fruit maturity from the tree in order to provide producers with a timeous and accurate picking window enabling our customers to determine the best time to harvest fruit. Over the years Hortec has set up a fruit maturity database from which long term trends and storability are derived for specific cultivars. This information is paramount in determining harvest windows. These trends are as a result of many years of research and accumulation of data and attests to our long standing service in the fruit industry.
